The students of the Albanian universities entered the 9th day of the protest today. who are protesting mainly in front of the Ministry of Education and Sports; while yesterday they protested in two main camps; one group protested near the Ministry and the other group protested near the Prime Minister's Office.
The students addressed 8 main requests in institutions such as: the Assembly, the Prime Minister's Office, and the Ministry of Culture and Sports. Throughout the days of the protest, the students have refused to dialogue with Prime Minister Rama, who has continuously requested talks with them. The students' position is that if the 8 required points are not met, there will be no dialogue.
Support for students
The protest was supported by Albanian students studying abroad. They have shown solidarity by showing support and attention mainly on social networks; but there were also cases when students from private universities in Albania were also in charge.

The National Youth Congress, whose main mission is the mobilization of youth organizations and the empowerment of young people in Albania, has expressed its solidarity with the students through a press statement.
"As young people, we stood outside the doors of the Ministry and the Prime Minister's Office today, representing ourselves, our relatives and friends because we are suffering the same student burden. As Congress, we have been one of the strongest opponents of the Law on Higher Education, and today, 4 years later, we see the consequences of an ill-considered action by policymakers. said in the statement.
Even the Union of European Students is an umbrella organization for the student organizations of the European Union through a statement has supported protesting students. The statement states that the Union supports all 8 points that the Albanian students have requested from the Government.
Even the Erasmus Mundurs association, one of the largest organizations in the world for students of the Erasmus program, has expressed its support towards Albanian students.
"Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) stands in solidarity with Albanian students, who are protesting against high fees, which have reduced students' access to quality higher education.
Considering the other effects that such a decision brings, EMA encourages every person who influences to make positive decisions in this direction. When voices come together, they can be heard more," the statement said.
