The student protest entered its 10th day today. The students are protesting near the Prime Minister's Office and some of them have spent the night there, despite the low temperatures and bad weather conditions. Meanwhile, for three nights now, the protest has turned into a continuous stand in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
Prime Minister Rama has been insisting for days on the stand for dialogue with the students, but they refuse to negotiate any of their conditions. ARE 8 requests that have been sent to the Assembly, the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Education and Sports. The students have told the media these days that the dialogue begins after meeting the conditions.
Wednesday and Thursday, The University of Tirana and the University of Arts, through a public statement have expressed their support for the students as well as their willingness to start work as soon as possible to support the students in their requests.
The students have warned today that on Monday the protest will take massive proportions.
