Citizens Channel with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation invites all journalists engaged in the city of Elbasan to the second training of the "Local Reporting Tools and Techniques" cycle. on June 28, 2019.
Participants will have the opportunity to expand theoretical and practical knowledge on local reporting techniques.
The training will be divided into three main parts:
- Integrating multimedia into local reporting
In this session, practical knowledge will be shared on the realization and assembly of images, audio and video through the mobile device in the enrichment of media products with multimedia elements. Another important aspect will be training on the use of platforms for data visualization in graphics or interactive maps. - Tools and importance of local reporting
In this session, participants will have the opportunity to get to know the best international examples of local media, analyzing the tools they use to create and distribute content. In the end, there will be a series of instructions and advice for the adaptation of these models in the Albanian context. - Local reporting in Elbasan
In this session, the participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences with a local journalist engaged in the city of Elbasan, on unreported local issues that are important for the daily life of citizens.
At the end of the training, a discussion will be organized where the participants will have the opportunity to share proposals for journalistic articles focusing on the city of Elbasan.
The training will be followed by an open call where participants will have the opportunity to apply for the creation of multimedia articles that will be supervised and financially supported by Citizens Channel.
