An evaluation report by the Altax center says that the parties' promises require several tens of billions of euros to be realized, in a country where the state budget is 7-8 billion euros each year.
The Socialist Party promises increases in pensions, salaries, and a larger budget for education and agriculture. This could require around 35 billion euros in 4 years. So it seems difficult to achieve.
The promises of the "Greater Albania" Alliance require around 29 billion euros in a governing mandate. Therefore, just like the promises of the SP, they are considered difficult to realize.
Altax's analysis has identified the Joint Movement's 162 promises for changes in agriculture, industry, culture and education as the most feasible program, requiring around 13 billion euros.
The "Nisma-Albania Behet" coalition also has a program that is considered feasible by Altax, even though their 218 promises require a budget of around 25 billion euros.
The "Mundësia" party has a program with fewer promises, 59 of them, which aims to cut the state budget by reducing spending to facilitate the economy with the aim of the well-being of citizens. Experts have assessed it as 82% feasible as a program with a cost of about 6.4 billion euros.
During campaign periods, Albania has seen many leaders make endless promises, often knowing that they are unfulfillable. These elections have not been without such an approach.
